WHO CAN VOTE?
- A citizen of the United States
- A resident of Utah for at least 30 days prior to the election
- At least 18 years old by the next election
- 17-year-olds may vote in primary elections if they will turn 18 by Election Day.
Utah does not offer the opportunity to register to vote on Election Day. The deadline is 30 days before the next election.
While voters have the choice whether to affiliate with a political party, it is not required to vote in elections.
